Assigned service on the Black River by order of General Pemberton in summer of 1862. Was detached from service to bring one section of artillery from Kingstree, S.C. on December 27th, 1863. Detached as Guard in Georgetown on April 9th, 1864 by orders of General Trapier. Detached as guard at Santee River Bridge Sept. 23rd, 1864 by orders of General Trapier.
