Abijah C. Crawford served in Co K, 1st S.C. Artillery, Confederate States Army as a Private. He was one of 4 brothers that served in the CSA. Abijah Columbus Crawford & David Harrison Crawford were the only survivors. His other brothers in the war did not survive: Sgt. Samuel J. Crawford & Pvt. Daniel A. Crawford both died during the war.
