Wm. Squires To Robert & William McH. Squires
State of South Carolina
Horry District
Know all men by these presents that I, William Squires of
the State and District I have given unto Robert Squires and William Mc Henry
Squires & their heirs and assigns forever, all that plantation or tract of
land containing in the whole Three Hundred Acres, more or less, viz: one
tract granted to Wm. Britton the 9th day of September 17794, (this is how it
is written) as may be seen on the above plat prescribed A. with double dotted
lines the remaining part of a tract of 6350 acres granted to Benjamin Moore
the 4th day of March 1793, Begining at a stake corner at A following the
courses and distances laid down in the above plat until it comes to a stake &
gum corner at C. from thence by a line agreed by parties as the deed
represents marked by Zebedee Causey to D., as appears by a single dotted line
from thence to the begining. Situate in said District on Spring Swamp on the
road from Dog Bluff to Conwayborough.
Together with all and singular the rites, members, hereditaments & appertenances belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining, To Have & to Hold all & singular premises before mentioned unto the said Robert Squires an William McHenry Squires his sons there heirs and assigns forever, and I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors and administrators to warrant and defend the same against myself my heirs & against every other person whomsoever claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
Given under my hand & seal 28th day of June One thousand and eight
hundred and twenty four..

Personally appeared John R. Conway, Justice of the peace, Zebedee
Causey who being sworn with that he saw the within named William Squires sign
seal, and as his act & deed deliver the within instrument of writing for the
purposed therein contained and that he did iwht John Squires subscribe as a
witness thereto.
