John Calvin Carterette

June 22, 1896 - March 16, 1935

Private John Calvin Carterette US Army 1916-1923, Service in France 5/1917 - 2/1919. Born in Simpson Creek Township, Horry County June 22, 1896, the son of Haynes P. Cartrette and Frances Carolyn Joyner Cartrette. Died of bronchial pneumonia March 16, 1935. Buried in Oakdale Cemetery Horry County. Married Alma Ovelia Fowler, daughter of Samuel Langstrom Camaii Fowler and Mary Jane Thompkins Fowler.
