Daniel Pinckney Cox, b. Jan 6, 1858 in NC, d. Dec 8, 1926 in FL (brought back to Cox Family Cemetery, Bug Hill, NC for burial); m. Annie Cox, b. Dec 16, 1858 in Columbus, GA, d. Jan 28, 1922 in Guide, NC. (also buried in Cox Family Cemetery, Bug Hill, NC)

Children:

  • Otha Lee Cox, b. May 11, 1879 in Guide, NC, d. Dec 15, 1938 in Horry County, NC. m. Dec 22, 1901 Eva Lillian Barker in Guide, NC. (Both buried at Buck Creek Church Cemetery, Horry County, SC)
  • Marvin Bascom Cox, b. Dec 2, 1882, m. Nov 1909 Millie Jarman
  • Susie Olivia Cox, b. Apr 7, 1885 in Columbus County, NC; d. Aug 8, 1929 in Mann's Harbor, VA. m. Dec 22, 1901 George Lee Holmes. Married 2) D. L. Migette
  • Jesse Dillon Cox, b. Jul 5, 1890 in Columbus County, NC, d. aft 1945 in Union, SC. m. 1) Vera Fowler, 2) Nellie Thompson
  • Arthur Gustavus Cox, b. May 29, 1895 in Columbus County, NC, d. 1974 in Lakeland, FL. m. July 29, 1917 Callie McLamb
